How Far In Advance Do I Need To Book?+

Most studies can be scheduled within the same week you call. Same-day appointments are occasionally available. Call us to check current availability.

What To Expect During Your Scan

How Long Does An MRI Take?+

Most MRI studies take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the body area being scanned.

How Long Does A CT Scan Take?+

Most CT studies take between 5 and 20 minutes.

Is MRI Safe?+

Yes. MRI relies on magnetic fields and radio waves — no ionizing radiation. We conduct a full safety screening with every patient before the scan begins to account for implants or other contraindications.

Is CT Scan Radiation Dangerous?+

The dose from a modern CT scan is carefully controlled and considered safe for the vast majority of patients. We follow ALARA principles to minimize exposure while maintaining image quality.

What If I Am Claustrophobic?+

Let us know when you schedule. We will walk you through the scanner room before your exam, provide music, and work with your referring physician on other options if needed.

When Will My Doctor Receive My Results?+

A Board-Certified Radiologist interprets your study and sends the report to your ordering provider, typically within 24 hours.

Can I Get A Copy Of My Images?+
